Has anybody received their "beginning of next week" "comprehensive update" yet. ( https://www.dtswiss.com/en/recall is still showing their July 24 message.)
“Beginning” is extremely – and deliberately – ambiguous. I wouldn’t be surprised if we hear nothing until tomorrow.

Canyon has apparently resumed selling Endurace CF SLX bikes with 28” ERC wheels for August delivery. These bikes were previously unavailable for purchase. Instead, bikes with ARC and GRC wheels were available for preorder, but these bikes have now been removed from the store.

so i have ordered the new grizl cf 6 a couple of days ago its already on delivery. could someone tell me if the bike is affected? or would canyon not deliver it if it would be affected? In DT swiss’s press statement the talk about a specific model and serial number but all i know from canyons website is that my bike uses DT Swiss Gravel LN. maybe someone can help.

Monday means Monday, “early” or “beginning” of the week means Tuesday, mid week means Wednesday, Thursday means Thursday, “later” or “end” of the week means Friday.

edit: the 29th july message has been deleted again from the website…
Updated today, in short
– they added some batches that are involved in the recall
– more information is given on the technical details
– when affected, you have to send your wheels back for a thorough check-up, you will get the boxes for the wheels. cassette, brake rims, tires need to be detached and stored by yourself
– when wheels are ok, you will get them back. When not OK you will receive new ones (same or upgraded)
– Will probably take another 6-8 weeks in total, goodbye summer…
– nothing about other damages because of not being able to right your bike for 2-3 months in the peak season 🙁
