What’s the final blow when you’re grinding uphill in the heat? Watching a couple cruise pass you on ebikes and then seeing them later chilling out on a bench and drinking wine. Day three was an easy start on a flat bike path along the Kinsey. So, I made good progress in the morning. I passed some traditional black forest houses that looked like straight of a postcard. The climb got steeper and it had me sweating like crazy, but I finally made it to this nice spot at the top. The smell of freshly mowed grass took me back to my childhood and those hay bales made for an idyllic picture, so I stayed a little longer. The day was fairly short, which is good because I kind of felt lazy and I allowed myself to take more breaks than usual. The camp spot was super cozy in the woods, but man, the mosquitoes were out in force. I slept okay. Anyway, that was day three. Kind of an easy day, but a perfect preparation of what was ahead. Day four is a big one. Don’t miss it.

Hahaha oh the mosquitos. Nothing like trying to sleep while being eaten alive 😂
That couple on e-bikes with the wine are living the dream. Couple goals AF 😂😂
