I've been having a creaking/cracking noise on my Aeroad (just over 1000km old) for a few rides and haven't been able to fix it yet.
I can narrow it down as follows:
– Occurs rhythmically when pedaling, repeats with cadence
– It sounds 70% from the pedal region and 30% from the handlebar/front wheel region
– Also occurs when riding hands-free -> not caused by the handlebars or stem?
– Also occurs when riding standing up -> no cause in the saddle region?
– I have already removed the pedals, cleaned them, re-greased them and refitted them.
– I removed the seat post and the rails to be on the safe side and reinstalled them with carbon paste.
– I removed the front wheel and cleaned, greased and refitted the axle.
– I removed the bottle cages, cleaned them and greased the bolts before reinstalling them
– I waxed my chain for the second time a little before the noise occurred for the first time, could it possibly be related to this?
Now I'm slowly running out of "simple" steps and I would be happy to hear any hints as to where the noise could be coming from.
Thanks for any advice!

Maybe liberally re-grease the rear axle? Surprisingly it can be a common place for creaks and clicks.
Eagerly watching for responses here. I’ve had my endurace for a year and while it doesn’t creak a ton, it dose a bit, especially when hitting bumps. Love the bike, but this is one characteristic that doesn’t inspire confidence.
I have a clicking noise that is caused by the bottle cages because one of the screws keeps loosening as I ride, try taking the bottle cages completely off and see if it is still happening. I guess that in my case a full bottle is rocking the bottle cage as I apply force to the BB or when I stand up and move the bike left to right.
