I don't enjoy anything that's user friendly or has active parts support, so I started with a used lefty ocho and a kindernay xiv IGH and went from there.
Frame is whatever I could find at the time that had a tapered head tube and sliding dropouts, which was surprisingly hard to find. Got the XTR crankset and pedals new with a huge clearance discount, everything else I picked up from marketplace over the last year or so.
For such a strange assembly of parts I'm really happy with how it rides. The fork feels great and the gearbox is very enjoyable to use, especially the hydraulic shifter.

That a clean build!
Left forks will always look silly to me.
Great build lol!
This build made me do a double take at least twice. Cool though!
Nice frankenbike!
Looks really nice. I like how the Ocho fits so cleanly with that frame.
