Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres are well known for their high puncture resistance, that said while they do fit, the widest size for 20" wheels is 47-406 (20×1.75).
Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus are my current favourite tyre, but are not available for 20" wheels at all.
However, the Continental eContact Plus also have a high puncture resistance and are very similar to the Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus. And they're available for 20" wheels.
The Brompton G-Line standard tyres are 54-406 (20×2.10).
The Continental eContact Plus are available in the following sizes:
62-406 (20×2.40)
55-406 (20×2.15)
50-406 (20×2.00)
The 50mm (2") tyres would obviously fit, but I'm curious whether the 55mm (2.15") tyres would fit as well, as they're only 1mm wider than the standard tyres. Do you think they would fit? I can't find any maximum tyre width specifications from Brompton.
