Tim Merlier (Soudal – Quick-Step) s’est imposé à Châteauroux malgré le grand numéro de Mathieu Van der Poel, échappé toute la journée et repris à 800 mètres de l’arrivée. La journée a été marquée par la tension, sans faire trembler Tadej Pogacar, toujours maillot jaune.
