Sooooo i want to slim down my stuff and simplify all off it and keep volume

As a gear recap:
15L Riverside Barbag
2x 15L Geosmina Panniers
Blackburn Framebag
Small bags on top tube and stembag

So I have the issue that I dont really have extra space for food and other small stuff
The panniers I used didnt handle the rocky stuff I threw at them well and the framebag broke

I noticed that the cook kit i brought was overkill and slimed it down with the rest I'm quite happy

I tought about using a 35L drybag instead of the panniers and slimming down on the clothing (probably a good choice)

With the handelbar bag I'm happy it works well but I would like to bring more weight to the front for better distribution.

My idea first was a rack but I'm very limitet in options here in Switzerland and don't have enough money to spend on very compact gear (tent, sleepingbag, mat)

Second one was the Revelate Design 22L Pronghorn

Then i saw the Swift Zeitgeist 12L × Jack the rack
It has a smaller volume but I have the feeling that my tent could easly fit plus some extras because the roll style bag seems to me as being not very space efficient for it

Open for any idea! More infos on my full kit and travels at the moment on other post's!

  1. You already have a lot of storage, I suspect your gear is bulky and that’s the root of your space issue. I can’t imagine having a 35L drybag on either end of the bike, that’s too much. Id continue to focus on removing gear from your kit and optimizing where you can.

My drop bar Fargo has a total of ~35L of storage (10L spine-lock, full frame bag, salty roll and egress bag up front). I’ve always had enough room for up to 3 days of food without getting too creative. Occasionally have run a dry bag on the fork.
