Looking to change out the stock Schwalbe 45mm that came with this Grizl 7. Looking at Specialized pathfinders because of the rolling strip in the middle. most of my rides have 50% tarmac before getting off-road, only concern is off road in Southern NJ can be pretty loose “sugar” sand . Any recommendations, also thinking about dropping from a 45mm down to 40-42. 45 just feels a bit massive

Pathfinders are slow.
Most of the fast folks around me seem to be running Schwalbe G One RS or Conti Terra Speeds in the fattest sizes they can fit.
Can’t provide any recs but wanted to see how you enjoy Cape May – is this the state park or some other trail? Usually ride my Grizl around the Manasquan Reservoir but looking to mix it up a bit.
