Hello and welcome to highlights of stage one of the tour to France fam axif from vans to plum going into this year’s race. Big question is can Cassia Nuvia Doma defend the title that she won on Outdoz last year by 4 seconds ahead of Damy Volering who is back to try and reclaim the title that she won in 2023 but with one of the best fields that we’ve ever had assembled for the tour to France fam. They would roll out of vans in the Gulf of Morhan and head towards a familiar circuit to many. The coat de bossagalo would take us with 48.5 kmters to go. Intermediate sprint on the line with 27.4 to go and then the climb of the coatal with 13.7 to go and then that tough run up towards the finish where timing is key. They rolled away from the start and Laramasi of the Labar Costa Fondathon us team, the Italian rider going on the attack and she would be joined just a few kilometers later by Mount Rybeck of the Vular Vessels team. Two of the smaller teams in the race and the draw of the first Queen of the Mountains point would be a lot for them to try and pull on that first jersey in this year’s race. The Pelaton though had other ideas and the breakaway were never really given more than about 30 seconds. It was a fast and furious day though. With 56.3 to go, Mount Rybeck decided that the best form of defense was attack and went on the offensive, dropping a breakaway companion, breasting the summit of the first climb of the day. She took the two points, one on offer to the Pelaton behind. She was caught not long after and it would mean that if she wanted the Queen of the Mountains jersey, she would have to be at the front and in contention when they hit the Kadoodle. There was a crash on the bridge as we turned into the finishing climb. It took down Mavi Garcia of Livula Jacobo, but also one of the big pre-stage favorites in Lyanna Liippard. teammates stopped to help her including Marlon Royster who as a favorite for the general classification was coming into this year’s tour to France really suffering from sickness that she had during the Jirro Italia and the run into the tour to France firm the first intermediate sprint for the green jersey. It was the rider in the white skin suit of European champion of Lorenna Vivas that we were watching out for. Over the top though, it was France of Picnic Posanel who went on the attack and with her went Lorenna Bibbis. Alarm bells would be ringing in the Pelaton behind. It was a sad day though for the team of Moby Star and unfortunately Marlon Royster having to abandon the tour to France fam on day one. A real loss to the race and the team. On to the coat to Kadoodle. The summit would come with 13.7 kilometers to go on the finish line. And towards the summit, it was the rider who we affectionately call the queen of the queen of the mountains, Elise Shab of FDJ Sewers, who was fighting it out with Elen Yansen of Vular Bessel. Shab took the points. Yansen and Schmalders crossing the line second and third and it would mean that the first Queen of the Mountains polka dot jersey in this year’s Tour to France would go to Elise Shab just outside 8 km to go and France the German champion went on the attack yet again. She was joined at the front by a small group that also included Broady Chapman, Leanoyan and Elise Shab. Sharon Vanroy of Little Trek though brought everything back together. Their sprinter Alisa Balsamo still in the mix. Vizma Lisa Bike all lined out on the right hand side of the Pelaton. Pauline Feron Provo and Mariana both in the mix. What a job they were doing to try and lead out for the GOAT. He was into the climb. Weebus was still in contention at this point. Pauline Feron Bravo though accelerated on the front. A small gap to Annavan Degen behind and it looked at this point as we hit 500 meters to go that Pauline Fon Provo was going to have a dream return to the tour to France fam a swift but the coal and the finish is deceptive. Kim Laour of AG insurance attack behind but it was Pauline for on Provo’s teammate Mariana Voss who looked like she wanted to make sure that Pauline took the stage but it was a victory for the GOAT the greatest of all time win number 258 the first myojon of this year’s race she took the stage ahead of Kim Laort with Pauline Feron Provo hanging on to take third place. What a day. What a victory for Mariana Voss. Our top 10. Mariana takes it from Kim Lort. Pauling for provoke with Nubia Dome bothering Peterson Vanderberg and Yansen Royakas and Georgie. Our top 10. Another day, another podium. We never tire of seeing Mariana Vosque on the top step. She celebrates it with the same love and passion for the sport as she does with the first win that she took. Mariana Voss pulls on the first yellow jersey of this year’s Tour of France, AXC Swift. We’ve seen her in yellow before. Can she keep it in the days to come? Stage two takes us 110.4 4 kilometers from Breast to Camper staying in Britany. And a tough day ahead of the riders on day two. 2,030 m of climbing. We have got four cat four climbs, one cat three. And on paper, it’s tougher than today. Will it be a day for the breakaways? We’ve got an uphill to the finish as well in Campur. Looks perfect for Mariana Voss to defend that yellow jersey. Join us for more action tomorrow. [Music]

This video is so funny that even my perm straightened up from laughing. Thank you, YouTube😛
The year race will be very interesting! Stage 1 finish is wild!
Oh Marlen no
Sad start
What a shame Marlen Reusser had to abandon. Would’ve loved more of the GC fun we already had in the Giro!
Congratulations Marianne. But why a stage so short? That distance and height is so average that most of amateur riders around the world ride every weekend. Pro women riders should ride stages of around 180 km and 2500 meters of height. Don't underestimate and treat these strong ladies as teenagers.
What a distance 😅
A 49 mile stage? Give me a break. Boooooooooring.
The better Tour!! TdFF will be really interesting!!
With PFP's performance in the classics, I do think she actually has a shot.
Make an effort with the pronunciation !!
A week long snooze fest coming up. There is just not the strength in depth in the femmes peleton and it leads to slow boring racing where the same people make the difference at the end as there is no need to do anything different. The racing just isn't tough enough until they get into the mountains so everyone can bowl along in the peleton for 2-3 hours. Just my two cents.
I was looking forward to these highlights, UNTIL I heard that commentator again.. the one that constantly names the riders.. these long & silly names, with their silly team names.. I just find his voice annoying—his tone of voice & how he talks in names and nonsense—it hurts my ears
The men get 30+ minutes. The women deserve at least 25 minutes because women stage racing for the GC is more suspenseful. You better do something, Puck.
Bruhhh, Like bro ,dude. Taylor Phinney, like huh huh, so totally chilin' on my spiritual like hippie vibe. So vibey, dude!!. What spell did this douche bag place on Kasia?
I am a big fan of Marlen Reusser, but this is ridiculous. What did she think would happen if she starts the TdF sick? That it would get better with a whole week of intense stress?
Boy those kits truly suck
The GOAT indeed! What a class act giving her teamate a chance and covering for the team in the back.
So did Ferrand-Prevot receive a yellow card and a fine for early celebrations?
Stage 1 chaos sets the tone!
weird – vos pips her teammate for the victory.
More balls than male TVL
Parece que ferrand no quiso ganar o no la dejaron ganar
Surely Pogacar is the most doped rider since Armstrong…. How can he get away with it? Tour de France is fraud!
Just 78 km?????😅😅😅 This is TdF for babies!!!!!!
This is a JOKE !!!!! 78 km?????
It was Saturday and I was on my bike longer than this stage……? Who thinks 78 km is far enough for “people who do this for a living “? No mention of average speed 🤔
Shame to lose Reusser so early, holy crap :
Mauritian lady 2nd place
