It has old generation Sora which was replaced with newer generation in 2016, I’d rather look for something more fresh for $500. Otherwise it looks like pretty common road bike with aluminum frame, aluminum wheels, carbon fork. If you can’t find anything else this small and you have no choice, maybe you can negotiate it to 350?
At 300 I think this would be a good buy for an entry into road riding. 500 is a steep ask. Have you checked what sizes you’re looking for? Road bikes are pretty sensitive to getting the right sizing.
