Need to get a bike carrier for my car, but uncertain about what to choose. My car doesn’t got a towbar. I have seen the one from Thule which can be mounted on the boot, but don’t know if it’s good to hang the bike like that if the rear suspension is in the way like it is on the Neuron. or is a roof mounted the best way to go? If so any recommendations? I’ve got roof rails already.

I use an adapter for a traditional trunk (boot) rack on my sedan, but more so out of necessity than desire. It sways, it’s not stable and I don’t like it.
Roof or a 1up style rack is the superior choice. I’m planning on upgrading to a 1up asap
Best rack to me is 1UPUSA. Hitch mount can’t be beat. Extremely stable.
