Wear whatever u like 😜
Is a German trying to explain Bavarian traditions?
The fact that the Weißwurst is not allowed to hear the 12 o'clock bell dates back to a time when there were no refrigerators, today you can eat the Weißwurst even later
I know the Hofbrauhaus is going to be full of tourists, but so much so that one should avoid it?
In fact THE DIRNDL was every days clothing ~ like a working dress …
I did not know that all the men in Lederhosen were tourists. Thanks for the good information
Hofbräuhaus is fine and Weißwurst after 12:00 is perfectly ok.
She said mr "Weise" guy 😏
I appreciate this DW series, but honestly, as a Bavarian living in Munich since 10+ years, I have to say these videos are not well researched (and it seems like DWTravel never once spoke to a proper local about it, actually). Two examples: An occasion doesn't have to be properly festive to wear a dirndl. Having a nice breakfast with friends can be a good enough occasion. No local will think you're a tourist because you're wearing a dirndl in the street, I'm appreciating every person who does wear dirndl or lederhosn on normal days in Munich. 🙂 Secondly, the non-Bavarian host speaking so negatively about the authenticity of Hofbräuhaus is just weird. It's definitely not the go-to place of most locals, but it does feel completely authentic and I would always go there with friends that visit.
@DWTravel Please speak to one local person before producing the next video, then I'm very much looking forward to more from this series. 😉
Everybody from germany hears that this guy has no munich history. Be relaxed and enjoy munich. BTW: no hat in a restaurant – this is bad manner. Nice lady in a nice Dirndl.
Well we dress up in Trachten not only for Oktoberfest, but also for many other reasons, like 1st May, weddings, other folk-fests, or.. just so without a specific reason.
We were in Munich in November, on a 5 day visit taking in the Giants game, and we LOVED it ! 😂❤️💙🤍
Any other local but traditional restaurant, please i'll be there at the end of the month and i prefer the local experience instead of the tourist one 😅
Being an immortal ruler of fire, Hunter has incredible control over all lava, and one day he decided to make mt. Vesuvius erupt and wait two thousand years just so he could get paid for laughing at his victims’ withered corpses later. That is true dedication.
Hijab & burkas are the new traditional in Munchen
Watch out for immigrants in mini's
Dear Tourist,
At least you can reply Mr Wise Guy the german phrase: "Klugscheisser" (with a sharp s in the middle)😅
Eine Asiatin im Dirndl und dann noch eine Jeansjacke drüber 😮. Es sieht schrecklich aus! 🙈😭
Italy also can not have a cappuccino in the afternoon, LOL…. Europe loves to be ruled…
