Well, fairly evenly matched left and right. Jacob Alulu with Dylan on the right hand side. Chuda leading through on the left. One of their riders just rolling away from his teammate. IPT still well placed now. Looking around. Find the sprinter. Make sure he’s safe. Push onto the next one. 3 km to go is the next roundabout. There’s an uphill onto a bridge over the freeway through that roundabout. Then it dips down very fast into the roundabout that comes after that. At 2.7K to go, D has gone to look for the wheel of Runig on the left of the picture as we looked at it. Trentine wasn’t there as there’s a pat on the back then for Abramson behind Trentine moving up to try and help Di after a lot of work was done before. You can just see as well through the center that waiting and ready now next to Trentine knows it’s a good wheel to follow. Ali is there left hand side. Balerini is on the wheel of Furov, the national champion of Kazakhstan. Just less than 3ks to go. It’s another roundabout as this group gets smaller and smaller and the road gets sleepier and slippier. Yes. And we can see Dear there from Ala Borts as well. He’s hovering around here and um yeah, we can see there the roundabouts, you know, both sides as we had in the road book. And it’s good that uh getting around both sides because if they’d all go around the one side, it would get more crowded. Uh makes it a bit safer. But you can see here again the riders going around both ways and looking like they’re pretty equal. Although the left side as well, they’re leading, but they have to go into the uh roundabout anyway. But this is really, you know, stretching out now. As I say, these roundabouts are helping that to really stretch the pelon out with 2.3 going early here, Robbie. Oh, megat’s trying to lead them to the roundabout. Problem was I just found Dylan Hunbe and through that last before last round about 30th position miles back Tim Merid well that’s normal for him around 25th he’s just behind Jonathan Milan so you see Milan there’s Merier in the white he chooses the right hand side which one’s faster this time more or less the same that’s that for the roundabouts as far as my road book tells me but it’s now a big race into 700 m to go the narrowing the left turn and if you want that position coming into the finale with a tailwind to the finish it’s time to be where you need to be. There’s Milan on the left hand side further down. Yes, there’s a risky one when it’s wet roads. You cannot stay too far back because you cannot take the you know the danger and the risk to get up to the front. We can see Melier there looks to be struggling in the white jersey. He’s got Bert Lurburgger just about three places ahead of him. So he’s just trying to get up there. He is right hand side all in white. Meridier Lurburger just two places in front of him. Milan he sliced his way through the pelon found his lead out man. So he is right up into the top 10 now as is Arno Deleos is there as well for Red Bull. Borah Paul Penway being brought for Groupama one crash and a big crash down. Several riders down caught up behind him. Byam is down on the right hand side. Several riders from IPT as well. Picnic Postel and that does not Look good. Groves out the way and the sprint will be contested by the riders here at the front. So the left hand side does not matter here. There’s enough room for everybody. Lee of course is in here. You can see Furov there as well. Merc’s made it through. He lands in there. Turns looks around. He’s just in front of Pinwit. There is Fiorov in alongside the rider from XTS. Now he’s going to try and lead him out. You can see behind Merc is there. Milan’s going to have to do it himself. Behind there is one of the riders as well who’s in there now for Picnic Postel. It’s Lun who’s there for them. M goes but here goes Jonathan Milan. Milan with the Lee on his wheel. The ball trying to get there. He has an issue though and is forced to go again. It’s Milan in the green on the left hand side. Look at L coming around. Milan though to the line and Jonathan Milan just ahead of John Deos wins for the second time and despite the chaos grabs hold of that green jersey competition. Oh my word. But Jonathan Milan has done everything that he needed to do today in the green jersey competition. Intermediate sprint points positioning coming into that final kilometer. He sliced through to find his teammate. Got himself right in that top 10. The chaos unfolded behind him, put himself in the box seat, and then he waited long enough, measured everybody up and chopped them down. Arnold Dele looked to be getting a good run, but he over overlapped the wheel of Milan. Almost went down himself. It was Jordi Moses who challenged late, but Milan, he goes 2-2 with Mer who didn’t make it into the sprint today. The big Italian, well, he certainly got a dress all in green from now on. That should be home and hosed. 50 big points on the finish. But what happened behind I suppose it was always going to happen. Well, there was always that danger, but we’re expecting the roundabouts to be the place where it could occur, but it happened in a straight section and uh yeah, it was a sprint between a small number of riders and Jonathan Milan found himself in the perfect position here as we can see the damage. Gil May there rather just sitting down and hopefully no major damage. But when it happens at this point, you know, you can take your time. You know, there’s no need to get up.

  1. Jonas Abrahamsen not deemed the most combative rider of the day…. Embarrassing. Surprise they voted a French cyclist for that prize
