Geometry and MTB nerds alert. Wanna switch the frame but made it cool and on a budget. I’m riding since 2012, and like to dig up the eBay and other to build some cool builds in a budget. Currently running the 2017 Canyon Strive CF with some out-of-a-stock-geo stuff. Put a coil shock, made it mullet with a 170 Fox Factory 36. (1 photo). In size XL it comes pretty “modern” with 483 reach, 64 HA and 1246 wheelbase. And rides WAY cooler than stock full27.5, Monarch Plus and non-boost Lyrik RC.

However it’s time to change the frame (kinda tired of the Canyon and want smth more unique). Found an used Evil Wreckoning LB (2019) (2 pic). frame and stock shock for around 500€. It’s XL also and stock geo is 66HA, 472 reach and 1232 WB. But pretty interesting suspension layout, boost rear and fair price.

My plan is to built it with 170 (or 180) 29’ Zeb that I have as a spare fork (needs some service) and 27.5 rear (will lean stock geo back but will keep the BB height), put some coil shock on the rear and receive some approx 64-63.5 HA and 469-470 reach. Which sounds pretty rideable for the local trails riding. The whole build (with spares from the current Canyon) will take less than 1000€ and as a result I’ll get this “custom almost enduro almost modern almost unique ride”

Main question I have to you is : Do those Evil Wreckoning frames had some special issues with em? And does this whole build have any sense or should I sell everything and get the Siskiu on a sale (Joke)?
