    You’ve got a B-link derailleur on a direct mount hanger. You need to remove the B-link (short black arm at the top) and attach the derailleur directly to the frame hanger.

    That derailleur hanger is for Direct Mount, you need to remove the link that is currently bolted to the hanger.

  4. I believe the issue is the hanger(?) between the derailleur and the hanger on the bike. Yours is pointing straight down and the pictures in the manual show it pointing straight back. This is causing your derailleur to be positioned much further forward and the chain is wrapping too much, preventing it from jumping to the final cog.

    There should be a notch on the main frame hanger and a corresponding notch on the middle hanger(?) that will hold it in the correct orientation. You’ll need to unscrew the second bolt and pivot the tab until the notches are aligned and then tighten it back again. It’ll be easier to do all of this shifted in to the smallest cog and the chain off the chainring up front.
