Hey everyone,
Just got a brand-new Brompton C Line less than a month ago and I've noticed something concerning when I fold and roll it around. The front wheel spins a bit when I'm dragging the bike, and it's causing the brake cable to rub against the tire.
I've attached some photos so you can see the wear on the cable already – it's pretty frustrating on a bike this new!
Is this a common "feature" or am I looking at something that needs to be addressed? For those of you with C Lines, especially newer models, does your front wheel spin like this when folded? And if so, how do you prevent the cable from getting chewed up?
Any advice, shared experiences, or solutions would be hugely appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
A slightly worried new Brompton owner!

I had same problem: https://www.reddit.com/r/Brompton/s/R36OkOzNPF
Eventually I got a rack so front wheel no longer touches ground when folded.
Before that I used this temporary hack below. Many didn’t agree with me. Just for your reference. Might or might not help. At your own risk.
