Is the Kink Whip or the cult control better? Im getting my first bike and my budget is $550 im 5'8 and I like the look of the cult better but it has a 20.75 top tube.i just want some more insight from someone smarter than me.

I prefer cult but either are good if the size/specs suit you. Edit I’m 5’7 and ride a 20.75 and like it. I ride a 20.5 before and it just felt really cramped
There’s a high chance I’m definitely not smarter than you but I’m around the same height and ride a Control, 20.75 feels really good, not cramped at all but I’m not reaching out trying to grab the bars either. Also my first bike too if that helps
I’m 5’8″ and a 21 inch top tube works best for me. As far as the brand… In the same price ranges, most bikes are about the same. I find killer deals on new and very gently used bikes on Marketplace and Craigslist. I just got a 21″ TT Kink Gap XL unused for $150.00! And a like new Kink Drifter 26″ with not a mark on it for $175.00. Deals are out there. 2 years ago, Menards had Kink Launch’s on sale for $99.99. I bought 2 and put them together and still haven’t ridden them! Subrosa also makes awesome bikes. I got a like new Subrosa Malum for $200.00 on Marketplace with 1 tiny scratch on the chain stay and it’s my favorite bike! The only Sunday’s I have are 2, 24″ Sunday Model C’s They are a lot of fun! My first Kink Launch that I totally customized and I ride a lot, I got like new for $50.00 All of those bikes cost less than $800.00
I’m 6’2″ 220lb looking to get back into bmx after 30 yrs and I think I’ve decided on a Kink Whip XL. I need at least a 21″ tt and high bars.
But I am not smart and def don’t know much about modern bmx so dont listen to me lol
Does either have a 48 spline crank?
