Mountain Biking King Alfred’s Way – Didcot to Winchester in 2 Days

On this ride we rode King Alfred’s Way over 2 day and completed half of the total route. Day 1 was from Didcot to Devizes which was 56 miles and day 2 was from Devices to Winchester which was 65 miles, we then got the train back to Didcot to get back to our car. This is a great cross country route and challenge, and it was made even more of a challenge for us due to the 30 Degree Celsius heat.

We stopped for lunch on day 1 at The Village Inn, Liddington
We stayed in The Bear Hotel, Devizes over night
We stopped for lunch on day 2 at The Old Castle (Harvester) Salisbury
