I'm currently riding a 20-year old Schwinn from Walmart and I'm looking for an entry level upgrade, so i went to Bikesdirect and found the Gravity FSX 275LTD which fits everything that i would do with it, for an acceptable price.
I've seen many people talking about the older frame geometry/cheap build quality.
Is the bike good for its price, and will it be a good upgrade from my old Schwinn, or should i look for a higher quality bike?

I had one of them. Not worth the money. They’re heavy, rattly, and don’t have any damping on the fork nor shock. The shock coil is super stiff to the point that it’s harder to ride than a hardtail. The geometry is terrible for actual trail riding, it was amazing how much more I could do as soon as I hopped on a “proper” bike.
