  1. My vote goes towards a dropper post, relatively inexpensive options out there that simply make the riding experience better

  2. 110% dropper post first, then tubeless setup if not complete, then contact points or anything that is having issues. Since it was from a shop I assume it’s half way decent already.

    Agree that dropper post is the obvious one. Maybe a shorter stem. Otherwise ride until you feel like something needs upgrading and go from there.

    Edit: just noticed the mismatched tires. Makes no difference but would drive me crazy. I would ditch that tanwall and throw a Rekon or something on the back.

  4. I ride a tallboy of similar era. Great bike and upgrades well. I did dropper, 1x setup (if not already done – wolf tooth has chain rings), 200mm brake rotors with semi metallic pads (you’ll want at least 180mm). Bleed the brakes and service the suspension if not already done. New grips to freshen it up.
