Is it possible to change a fitbikeco (or revenge industries) rear hub to left had drive?

The website and description of the King Kong drivers imply that all you need to do is swap the RHD driver with a new LHD one. (Photo 2)

After opening the hub and removing the driver it’s not so simple as that. The ring where the pawls engage needs to be reversed. (Photo 3)

Have any of you done this and if so; how do I remove the stepped ring and re-install reversed without damaging it or the hub body?

You won’t be able to get that ring out i don’t think.

Edit: 10t as well, that’s the best size! Wish they were more widely available.

  2. Can’t be done, the ratchet ring is machine fitted into the hub body and as such not removable.

  3. Not possible on this wheel/hub I have these exact same wheels from my Benny 3, the flange (hub Shell) as you’ll notice is sized largely to the right where the drive side is, the left side is narrow so obviously the component that fits the driver can’t go on the left, very few wheels have convert like that, one is GSport Elite wheel reversible drive sides, same with Haro Premium Planetary Hub. Let easy swap drive sides, I have the GSport roloway, but that’s like $400 wheel lol. Cheapest option if buy a new LHD hub, compatible with the spoke length and rim, which today will be hard to size for fitting cause that wheel is dated and I’ve had trouble getting info on it.
