I was getting a lot of noise coming from the front decided to take apart clean and lube this screw backed out normal without issues and when I went to put everything back it’s frozen and doesn’t move took it to 2 shops one being an authorized repair center and no luck took 3 days to speak to someone at canyon in which they said to look out for an email that says the part you need is unavailable and for me to sign up for a stock notification 🤦♂️

Sounds like you broke it and are annoyed that Canyon cant fix your problem when you want it.
Ahhh the best part is part is estimated to be available end of August to the beginning of September
I’m in the same position on my ultimate. I had a little wiggle on the cockpit so I went to tight it all up. After unscrewing this it’s impossible to move it back and tight it. Went to the canyon affiliated shop, no news for 3 weeks.
I’m buying a second bike now, higher end and I truly wonder if canyon is the brand I want for it…
So what broke? Did you completely remove the screw? I thought you shouldn’t do that. The manual I have said: “carefully loosen this single clamping screw. Do not remove it, just loosen it, because it keeps a wedge in place that must stay there!”

If you’re getting noise from the front end, why did you decide to remove this screw?
Making sure the handlebar-end screws are torqued properly to 6nm, shifter clamp as well, would have been a better place to start.
Heck, even retightening the headset would have made more sense than removing this screw.
If it’s an older model with steel headset (not stainless steel) bearings they may have worn out by now, and need a service / replacing
That part sucks…. Unfortunately you are going to have to replace it. And hope Canyon has one in stock! Not to mention the pain in the ass routing of the cables…. Been there before. My bolt was basically frozen wouldn’t budge. When it did it was clearly it was stripped. Replaced it and took about 5 hours to do the whole job. Completely turned me off the bike and Canyon in general as that much of a pain to work on shouldn’t be like that.
Funny. I just went through Canyon service for an issue and couldn’t be happier. Super responsive with follow ups when promised. Acknowledgment that the saddle shiuldnt have broken. New one on the way. Fantastic experience.
