Was insanely excited to set up my brand new Endurace CF 7. Now, I am sad. Fork is messed up and the rear derailleur won’t screw into the frame. I’ve never purchased a brand new bike. I just sold my old TREK OCLV to get a new canyon.
Is it normal for the rear derailleur to not be mounted when these bikes come in the mail? I found it odd that it was loose and was super sad once I noticed the screw and/or the thread receiver is stripped and I couldn’t finish setting it up. Already contacted customer support. I’ll see what they say tomorrow…I guess…

The hanger screw is an issue but doesn’t look like anything is wrong with the fork
Not normal. Although we have seen the fork being loose a bunch of times recently.
Your first mistake was buying a canyon.
