But it was risky going this early in the stage. But maybe Rogich is thinking to be fair, we’ve got nothing to lose. I’m going to going to go on an escapade. Leap of can follow. He’s got third place on the podium fixed. Red Bull Borah Hansrower don’t care. And Rogich has lit up the race and gone clear. Yeah, that’s also a very good move. And look at the speed that he is going there. Roglitch Vonard is not even trying to follow. Just gets out of the saddle there. No. Robish now ups the pace at the front doing the riding well this group Leapitz has cracked a little he’s going backwards noward attack here goes the attack of Engagard he’s already started 71 km from home it’s a big attack it’s not a full-on attack yet just testing the legs there of and the reaction well he’s already said second place doesn’t matter whether that’s true or not we don’t know but Wengerard is prepared to put everything on the line he goes on the move the thing for him is he’solated Paga and just rides past is he going to go on the wheel of Jurgens yes he’s looking for the wheel Jurgen literally pushes Iron Man say hey that’s my spot Iron Man is okay that’s your wheel no problem there we’re almost at the top is he going to go through. Yes, he is. Pagani is going to try and take the points. He took second place. Left it a little bit too late. 15 points. 59 minutes to spare. That’s perfectly fine for me. And there he goes. Felix Scout. Vindigar chases. Talip Pagasha reacts straight onto the wheel. 2 km before we start getting into the town. 3 km for the cam. Big attack there by Vinegar trying to go back onto the wheel of Felix Scout. Is he going to cut his effort? No, he’s insisting Philip Scout road starts to rise now. He has. Jorgensson now, you’ll notice hasn’t done much work for a little while. So maybe he’s been told just sit on the back for as long as you can. Try not to work too hard. Ben O’ Connor attacks. Big move of the Australian and Okconor has decided to go for gold. Yeah, big attack there by Ben O’ Connor. He’s realized that um it was good that Rubio was sharing the load, but maybe the the pace was going a little bit down and he feels that he’s better off on his own. Leap of its is cracking. Yes, he’s dropped about 8 seconds already. This is not good news for the third place of Leaperitz. It’s great news for Oscar only if he stays there. There’s a couple of small little turn switch backs and we’ll get it to the finish. And there goes the attack. And now the attack. Thenard starts, but Pagatcha immediately is onto the wheel and responds. And so does Onley. He comes back onto the wheel as well. Gritted teeth from the young Scott in third place on this wheel. Now the line cannot come quick enough. He hunches his shoulders. It has been a brilliant day across the mountains. Okconor is going to turn the final corner and get set to take the spoils of victory on the colder la. 16 km solo. A brilliant day for a brilliant rider. Tubulation for Jac Alula. Brilliant. Bento Connor wins his second stage in the tour to France. Four years after the first still said that he was going to go and there’s the attack there from Taga. Big move for the yellow jersey. He’s revving it up now at the top of the colder laws to show Wengerard who is the boss. Onley is still fighting because he knows that any little acceleration is going to give him a bit more time, but Wengerard has to succumb to the power of the boss. The tornado strikes and Pagata rides away. The yellow jersey at the top of the cer law is showing the rest of the world who is the champion of the torrads. He goes clear and no one has an answer. He can start to smile because he is going to put more time into the rest of the opposition in this tour. Paga is the boss of the 25 tour to France. Fagard finishes behind him. Oscar Onley. Now the clock starts here. He is he has by my reckoning about 24 seconds to make it and he’s just going to hold on to third place in the tour. Onley has got third place in sight. He’s suffered for days but finally the hard work pays off.

  1. When both Jonas and Pogi are going full gas, the difference in efficiency maybe translates to difference in duration of that high power output. The seated relaxed position probably saves a couple of beats per minute HR at the same power output.

  2. It's funny seeing Pog riding "conservatively" just holding onto Jonas' wheel but still taking him at the line just to set the point. Jonas must feel tormented, but that's been Jonas' strategy against Pog for years. I always find myself rooting for Pog, but I like Jonas a lot. Hopefully he regains that fire so we can watch more battles in the future. Tedej is a monster. Congrats to Ben!!!

  3. Is it possible for one team to have 2 genuine GC contenders? Maybe that’s a way to crack Pogacar. He is superstring and consistent.

  4. It seems to me that last year Vingegaard had a better chance with Pogacar also riding the Giro. I don't think that Vingegaard has completely recovered from his crash and Pogacar was clearly in fine form during the classics, but had a more restrained run up to the Tour. I think he has never been better. He is only 26 with what looks like 4 Tours won. If he maintains his form and avoids any serious crashes he has to be a favourite for another 2 Tours perhaps more. Remarkable.

  5. It's crazy to think that if Tagej wasn't there, we would be talking about Jonas winning his 5th TDF in a row. He would be considered with some of the best of all time. Unfortunately for him, he's riding with one of the goats of the sport.
