I love wearing these but they bring me much ribbing from my gravel groups. You can also pair them with some funky mismatched socks for further piss-taking.

I would never wear flip flops or sandals cycling. Maybe it’s because of MTB but passing around stones and sometimes hitting my feet. Man I feel like I am going to lose a finger.

  3. I have it on good authority you’ve gotta watch out for toe rocks!

Keen used to make a pair with a safety toe, they were discontinued but you can still find them online if you’re lucky.

My buddy swears by cycling sandals and uses Keens for gravel, Shimano for road.

  4. An accident waiting to happen. I appreciate the proven protection my shoes provide.

I would get these for rainy day commutes hows the stiffness though? I fully thought this was an ai troll image

  6. I use these on all surfaces, including commuting in the city when it’s hot.

For toe protection, a pair of quality wool socks usually does OK. I’ve got a couple of nicks but nothing too serious.

  7. And then you discover the feeling of this little rock, this fucking tiny little rock who’s send top your foot finger by your wheel and you keep your closed shoes
