I am currently looking for a new bike and was almost sure to get an Ultimate but after compairing it to the aeroad it does not make sense to me to buy it.
The geo is almost identical and the weight of the aeroad is even less what should make the aeroad a better climber bike.
I am looking for a bike which is also good to climb with. Not alpes but hilly areas.

These two models are not really comparable. “CF” is the lowest tier carbon frame. CF SLX is the next level up.
Aeroad will climb just fine. Pros don’t use the Ultimate anymore.
If these are the prices, Aeroad. As the other person said, the SLX is nicer. Usually that would be 1-2k more expensive. Compare it to the equivalent Ultimate CF SLX.
Buy the one you like

it’s funny that ultimate is considered as a lightweight climbing bike but it’s heavier.
Aeroad 11 times out of 10. The ultimate is a useless model in the line up
