recently, I got some custom built wheels from a shop. After delivery, I noticed some damage on the back wheel, like a small chip on the inner hook which does not really induce confidence in the quality control. Additionally, some kind of residue from the molding process which does not really adds to the beauty of the product.
I wrote the shop and they claim it's marginal, safe to ride and not really grounds for them to do something.
I personally do not see paying full for some sloppy quality control but my main question is: Is this a problem for safety long term and/or will it make problems setting them up for tubeless?

Hello, on ne voit pas très bien sur la photo mais s’il y a juste un petit éclat dans un trou à rayon, ou un peu de matière en plus, mais comme c’est du carbone et que ça coûte suffisamment cher pour avoir des problèmes, j’irais appuyer un peu plus fort auprès du magasin …
Pour le montage tubeless ça ne devrait pas poser de problème car tu mettras du fonds de jante pour que la surface soit bien plate et que le préventif glisse dans ta roue…
