So I bought this used 2018 FitBikeCo Begin FC bike with custom parts. I am really happy with it. The bike was originally green but the previous owner had painted over it with black. The paint has came off in some areas (mostly around the fork and the chainstay) and I would like to paint the frame with the same black color, but I want to get all of the old paint off. Any tips for painting bike frames with a rattlecan?

Paint stripper. Get all the old paint off.
Then sand everything off a bit to get some tooth on the surface and take off the leftover paint.
Clean and degrease frame.
Apply 3-4 light layers of primer, letting it dry in between.
Let all the primer fully dry before applying again 3-4 light coats of paint(again always light coats and letting them dry in between)
Let this fully cure before applying the final coats of clearcoat. Maye even a 2k clearcoat.
