[Music] Well, what now for the tactic of Ben Healey stuck there on the front, everybody in the wheel knowing Brago has a really venomous finish. He is a very fast finisher on an uphill. Got a very good turn of speed. I can imagine Ben Healey is just going to pick his mark and go so hard and suffocate the rest. Try and just ride them out of the wheel. Here goes Pagatoa. Here goes Pagachi. just leaving seeing leaving that little bit of a gap and Paul Gachan puts in his first attack on Monto this year. It’s 118 to close. He’s put two bike lengths between him and Vingor who is reacting well this time and looks like he might be able to get on the back wheel. There is a positive reaction from Yonas Vingor and you could just see him leaving the gap there as he now gets to Alfip and they’re a minute and 10 behind. Yes, we can see the advantage to the lead here. Counter counter attack by V being go there on that. This is all kicking off here now. And now the guys here on the front will be getting majorly concerned with the battle on between the the two big hitters. Sits down on the wheel. There’s nothing between them today. Getting to one kilometer to go almost and in the front we saw a move from Bahan. That was counted. Mass left behind with Draago goes on with the Flam Rouge. He in the pink jersey trying to close it. This is so precious, so prestigious that they will fight to the last pedal stroke. Came for GC. It didn’t work out. Now he has an opportunity to add a tour stage to a JO success which would be a huge turnaround for Vrago after that really nasty crash on stage seven to Mud Banned open all over. He’s recovered. He’s back at the front of the race. Been in the hunt for one of the most iconic stage victories in the tour to France. Many of the greats have won here. We’ve had so many episodes. They’re 210 m behind. 44 seconds. Mass is trying to work his way back as well. Yes, he’s coming back. And we can see here they’re just all watching each other. In the meantime, the advantage is coming down and you know another attack here in the final couple of hundred meters. We could see them just getting swallowed up in the end. But looking like Pogar is happy city the wheel at being go here and if that goes on for another couple of hundred meters they should be able to stay out in front grab it and look who else is back. It’s Elon Wen motion. really worked his way well back. Nodded the head to Par said follow this I’m going to wind it up and then Parant you’d think needs to attack off the back of this but for such a slightly built man he’s pretty quick on an uphill finish and we know how much it can change around those final corners. 550 m to go on the bald mountain the giant of pules with some of the most slight slender climbers in the world trying to take victory on it. Remember the hair pin still to go. The ascent up to the observatory. 500 m. It’s 43 seconds now. Back to Patcha and a Vingigore who I think have probably missed their opportunity now to take victory here. Just too late for Pagacha and Vinegar. But from these riders at the front, looks like everybody is backing his own sprint. He still waiting on the wheel of for Wilder. It’s all about what you have left in the tank here because it’s not about being the fastest if you’re still feeling the fatigue as Guago has made a big effort to get back in. Normally, he will be, you know, quite a fast one this sprint, but it’s all about energy in the tank at the moment. Think back to the history. Think back to the big names, the fantastic, the tragic, the feuds, and of course the farle. the last time we tried to finish up here. But now after four hours of yet again full gas racing, it’s been a copy and paste start. But what will the finish look like? MVU in glorious sunshine and it’s the man from Ireland who’s going after it. Ben Healey in that pink jersey wants to get it again. But keep your eyes out for Bahra. He has the French hopes on his small shoulders. Healey’s going. He’s out the saddle. Bahan’s trying to do it. They’ve still got to turn around and go up the hill. The observatory awaits and watching them come in. You can see the flags there as well. But here goes. Look at Pra. There are French hopes. Are they about to be satisfied? And I think they are. Look at Pra. A dream come true. And finally, it’s the French. This one’s historic. This one will go down as special. He joins the great names who have done it for his country. From Puro to Timmy Bell now Virhank and now Pipan he wins the stage and Pugacha is still trying to win the GC war attack three times. This is Pugacha’s second dig now and still there’s nothing between them today. They have gone toe to toe team to team around the final corner. There might be a second or two in it, but it’s Pogachan in yellow who will not add his name to the big list of winners. Al Manu. He will though survive another day and not just survive but thrive as he still finishes just in front of Yonas Vingor who tried and tried but couldn’t even get him swinging towards that canvas. No, I think Vizma Vizmea did a great job here. You know they just put that teamwork into action. Satellite riders being a go tried everything there but Pogar never in difficulty because seeing the final run to the line not any difficulty on this stage. Well, we mentioned earlier on that it could have been Wembley, Marakan, the MCG. In the end, Robbie, it’s the Stard France. Listen to that. Stard France moved to the Mong 2. Big thanks to his teammate Vilda for a team that was down and out a couple of days ago despite having three stage wins already with Evan Apool and Mer. It’s a Maf who takes it on the Mon 2.

Lipowitz has increased his lead in the white jersey and consolidated his third place, WOW! I'm curious to see where he'll be in 2-3 years, and especially where Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe will be next year with Roglic, Lipowitz, and (evenepoel…)
The Slovenian doper who came in fifth
Soudal showing to Remco how to be a professional cyclist and to earn their wages.
Really happy for them, they thoroughly deserve this after being disrespected by their crybaby โlEaDeRโ being a quitter and by fans saying โhe doesnโt have a teamโ.
Congrats!
The french can't help but ride without honour
Wear him down please.
It's nice to let other people win stages, instead of pogi winning everything ๐ A day after his crash, pogi said he was under the weather. It looks like he's much more cautious with the matches he burns, his riding looks conservative. I wonder if it's because he feels under the weather still, or if he's simply being strategic. Jonas lost a couple of seconds at the very end there, he gave up before the line, that's bad optics. Well done to the frenchman for winning at the top of mont ventoux, that's iconic.
Better Team work from Visma today – but no way to get rid of Pogacar. But what is the point of Yates ?? He never helped just stying behind Jonas all the time. Why not work in front just for 1 minute before dropping down to help your team mates ?? But everyone else at Visma did their job.
Pog never once looked in trouble reacting to jonas attacks with such ease, but fair play to jonas and visma for giving it a go,everyone always refers to days in past when pog cracked but he is a much diff rider now
Surely Pogacar is the most doped rider since Armstrong…. How can he get away with it? Where is the Media?? Tour de France is fraud!!
TO DAY WAS THE BATTLE OF THE WHEEL SUCKERS WHO GOT THE GOLD MEDALS Number 1 Pogacar for sure he got the gold award , BUT WE ARE GIVING A SECOND GOLD AWARD FOR 100% WHEEL SUCKING THIS WENT TO Paret Peintre HOLD YOUR HEADS IN SHAME YOU WHEEL SUCKERS YUCK.
Gutted for Healy but that was a heck of a win!
A Home win at last! France can at least celebrate even for a day. The Irish attacked a little bit too early, it was really fun to watch, not to mention the other 2 behind. That's how you do it Mr. Vingegaard! You took it to him, raced him hard & gave all you've got, that's all that matters in the end. And then do it again, don't waiver! A very good day for cycling. Applause to all the riders & fans! I really had a good time….
"Ben Healy, the man from Ireland" – he cycles for Ireland but he is from England!
Everybody wants to see a weakness at Pogacar, like last year, when he lost the stage against Jonas. But its diffucult to find anything. This was an absolut dream scenario for visma, Jonas in his comfort-zone with Kuss riding strong, satellite rider in the right positions (Benoot at high and campenaerts at medium gradients), multiple attacks from Jonas, an awful UAE-Team (maybe with some Health Problems) and the result ist a two second lost. He also followed the attacks with no visible Problems.
But for sure Jonas is in top shape and their form is nearly equal. I hope there will be an epic battle at Col de la Loze with the storyline from 2023, even its a different route.
Ben Healyโs place in any future team โ
Everybody is saying he wants the record of stages in the tour… Except Pog. Clearly he didnt want to win the other day and he didnt want to win today. If he wanted he would have gotten it EASALY. its not even comparable to know one. Ving us the 2nd best and that is it.
Man he gave all what an insane sprint
Pogi forgot his Juice today.๐๐
Primoz slowly reaching for that 4th spot!๐ช
Case to be made that placing 2nd in the tour after fracturing ribs, collarbone suffering pulmonary contusion and pneumothorax is as impressive an achievement as winning the tour fresh? Pog an undeniable great obviously but just thinking
And the award for the ugliest riding style goes to Paret-Pantre๐คฎ…Stop shaking already!
Great win! Also very good battle between Tadej and Jonas!
Allez allez great to see a Frenchman lead them up Mont Ventoux, The whole of France celebrates congratulations!!
Very happy for France. An epic win on Mont Ventoux.
Worst camera work ever. Swapping away every time the leaders attack.
Pogacar has no style
Jonas keep positive
Where did Van Wilder appear from
๐ค๐ค๐ค
Doping
Healy second he must be seriously disappointed but SECOND on Mt VENTOUX is a Wow Wow !!
Bravo Benny !!
Carnage?
Tell me pog is not taking drugs
Jonas Vienugo
Sorensen, Rasmussen, Riis, Weltz, Perdersen, Skibby, Fuglsang and actual Christian Kornum U23,… all danish cyclists who had some sucess were doper, so is Vingegaard.
If you have bad legs for more than 1 day, like Vingegaard had in the pyrenees, you never ever will have good legs in a Grand Tour 3rd week without doping.
Great help from Van Wilder !!!
That was good. Really good.
