The rear derailleur shifts between the 3rd smallest and the largest cog well enough. But there’s no reaction (and no buzz) from the derailleur when I try to shift to the two smallest cogs.
It came like this out of the box. Any tips to resolve it? Hopefully an easy fix.
I am a bit of a noob dealing with this so any help is appreciated.

Shift to the big chainring. It’s a mechanism to prevent cross chaining and chain slag (to prevent chain struck to the chainstay)
Its because of the dork disc
That is normal to prevent cross chaining.
You are going need to have some indexing adjustments. As a noob and on that drivetrain see if you can pay for a lesson from your local bike shop to learn how to adjust
