[Applause] This is the theater in which the top riders in the world will perform. Enrich Mass attacks. Big move of Enrich Mass. Now he’s opened up a massive gap with that attack. He is doing well. The Pelaton at the start of the K. The speed into this climb and his Vardu takes it on timeline. Valentine Barry Pont attacks to try and go across to Enrich Mass. Healey responds. Oh, and there’s the attack. Here’s the attack. Wenger starts the assault on trying to take yellow back from T Paga, but Pagatcha responds immediately. They cash Rodriguez and Wenger continues with a big big move out the saddle for a long time. Look at the face of Paga. There’s a little bit of hurt for the first time on the yellow jerseys face. Here’s another attack. Tish Bernut pulls the parachute and Wengerard starts again on this 10% gradient. Pagatcha looking like he can respond easily. Wenger checks, looks straight into his face. He has got really annoyed with Brago. He’s sitting on ready for a stage win if they catch mass. They’re now into the barriers. Valentine Par goes to the right hand side, but they need to close the gap because this rider is still clear. Here comes Victor Campernards. He’s going to go arrow into the headwind. And now he’s going to get ready for one massive turn. Healey is almost with Henrik Mass. He’s 18 seconds behind with 4 km of racing to go. Parry Pont is hanging on to try and give Sudar quick step. Look at the way Healey is just ramping up the tempo and Valentine Barry Pond is just desperately trying to stay there. Mass looks around. He’s got company and they need to keep pressing on, don’t they? Cuz it’s only 245. The gap is not that big. So Healey goes to the front knowing that he needs to keep the pressure on. Needs to be some good sports. Yeah, there goes the attack by Ben Healey. Healey launches and Mass can’t respond. Valentine Barry Pont knows. Oh, he almost hits the wheel of Healey as well. And you can just see on those corners the flags are literally dropping the attack. Wenger strikes yet again. Pagatcha responds in a headwind. Look at Wengerard sprinting as though it’s the finish line and Pagatcha is right in the slipstream and refuses to let go. 4 km to go to the top of the Montu. Get out the road. And here par another big attack. Healeely refuses to let him go. He sprints away. Mass has to be a bit more of a diesel engine. He’s dismissed again from the front group. But Valentine Paront now really ramps up the tempo with his pure climbing jumping around. Now he’ll slow down again. Henrik Mass is like a cat with nine lives this afternoon. And Brago has come back as well. any terrain between now and the top where Wenger and here there goes the yellow jersey. Pagatcha decides to strike 1,200 m from the top. He wants the stage win and he wants to get rid of the Danish rider behind him. Wenger’s refusing this time to let him go. Now he’s sprinting all his way back to the wheel. There he is back to the wheel. Vanagard is back 700 meters and coming back to the front group is Ilan Van Wieldder of Sudal Quickstep about to join his teammate. Wow, he came out of nowhere. Congratulations to Wilder. Here’s the corner. Ben Healey. He gets ready for the corner. Valentine Parorn goes with him. Vraago doesn’t seem to have the reaction. Healey now starts to ramp it up. Valentine Parorn gets set. Can he get back on the wheel? Healey goes round the corner. Takes the right line. Valentine Par looks for the inside line. Petrago sprinting. Now it is two riders headto head. Healey and Valentine Parry Pond. Who’s going to take it on Vonu? It’s a French victory at the top of the Monontonu for Valentine Paront Van Wilder. Paga now wants to go and show Vengerard that he’s still the boss. Ramps up the tempo after 4 hours of racing. Wengerard today though has been the answer to every single attack that Vagatcha has made. Fergard is stuck to him at the top of the monu. They catch even Enrich Mass, but Vangard is still locked in on the wheel. He gets dropped just before the finish. May lose a second.

  1. No doubt – mountain finishes much more exciting than bunched sprints – last 3 Kms interesting compared to last 30 m for the sprints

  2. 2:40 Cycling fans have to be the most moronic of all sports. Is there another sport where 'fans' consistently put the athletes at risk of falling, breaking bones or worse? Every Tour de France these idiots are out there causing issues.

  3. Soudal is proving the critics wrong about Remco needing a stronger team in the mountains! It's their first tdf mountain stage victory in the last 2 years, and they even did it without Remco. And what an amazing battle for Jonas and Pog.

  4. My gracious. Can we just bask in the wonders of what it's like watching these two elite superstars battle each other? What a freaking gift it is ….. I don't care who you root for, this was an inspiring effort by both Vingegaard and Pogacar.

  5. some of the most ridiculous commentry going 'the gap is only 2min 44sec' Distance to the finish? 3.5km.
'Pogacar wants to win this one' Gap is 1min 40sec Distance to the finish is 1.2km

  6. Analysts are critical of Visma's tactics but this will be the only way to possibly beat Pogi; isolate and attack him constantly. Healey is on fire this Tour! Were did van Wilder come from?! Great lead out for Valentin.

  7. I have no doubt Pogi saves alot more in his legs when he attacks seated from the strength and low RPM and high torque work he does in the off season , As Pogi would always attack out of the saddle back in the day
