My brother crashed his specialized allez. He is fine but the handlebar/shifter is bent. It still shifts and breaks but is it something to be bent back or is the handlebar toast? Any advice is greatly appreciated. I tried looking for a bike crash subreddit but didn't see one.

It looks like the handlebar might be fine, but that the brifter was just pushed over. You can slide a hex wrench under the cowling, loosen, adjust and re-tighten it and it could hopefully be as good as new.
Peel back the rubber hood and you’ll find a clamping mechanism. Loosen the clamp and reposition the lever. Carry on…
Do what the others say, and it looks fine. Most higher end brake levers can take a beating. I’m sure the handlebar is fine too.
Good thing it wasn’t carbon.
It’s fine, normal for these things to be crashed on and scratched. You can probably just bang the level back into place with your hand. Give it a few whacks and it’ll be straight.
