2025 Trit France stage 16. This is the one that everybody wants to watch, the Monvon 2 stage. And that’s the major feature of the stage at the end of 171 km of racing. 15 km climb, 8.8 average, and nasty all the way up. Especially in the second half when it’s exposed to winds, barren, just looks like a lunar landscape up there. It’s famous in cycling and the riders hate it. It’s not often we get to this climb. It’s neither the Alps nor the Pyrenees. It’s something particular. Walt Van Art dominated over the top to win solo down at the base. The last time we visited there, Tom Simpson died up on the climb back in the day. In terms of features on the day, well, nothing in particular, but an intermediate sprint about twothirds of the way in. And then we have the climb a Monvon 2. Let me know down in the comments who do you think will win this iconic stage in cycling. Manvon 2. Is it going to go to Tatty Pagacha picking up one of the famous climbs in cycling? I’m sure he’ll want that. Or we’re going to see a rider like Lenny Martinez race up ahead for more points in the polka dot jersey. Tune in to find out. Stage 16 of the 2025 Tur to France Monvon 2.

  1. Tadej Pogacar has the opportunity to make a massive statement as the final week kicks off — and he will not squander the opportunity to put on a show.

  2. I'm thinking the breakaway will win. My pick is Michael Woods he won a similar type of stage 2 years ago on the Puy de Dome.

  3. So far, Pogacar has won back all the stages he lost, overcoming all his defeats. Considering his nature, it's obvious that he would have prepared to target the final week, as it is structured around the stages where he performed poorly. Although he doesnt seem to be in great condition and shape right now, he has probably been enduring and is preparing for the FINAL SHOW.

  4. I said, at the beginning of the TDF, that pogi will decimate jonas, winning the tour by 7-10 minutes in the overall….tomorrow he will take another minutes at the least.

  5. Pog is the favorite, but what about the kids Lipo, Onley and Vauquelin try something… or better, Vingegaard takes back some minutes, now THAT would add suspense to the tour!

  6. Finally the mountains are here the first time in this rivarly we have the two in good health. Let us see who has it. So far it is Pogacar 2 Vingegard 0 draw 1 more comming.

  7. It depends what Visma want. It can be a great show down, but the strategy of Visma is a secret even for themselves. Vingegaard has to attack, other riders want to keep white or the mountain jersey, much to win, much to loose, great for cycle fans.
