Hi everyone, I was wandering which one of those two options do you wear the most for those chilly days and winter rides? I would like to buy a gilet to pair when necessary with my arm warmers this autumn and winter.
But I’m not sure if a thermal is good call, maybe is too warm or it is not, or I’m going to sweat too much in it and it is better to get a regular gilet etc.
I would like to hear your experiences and advices! Thanks

I was thinking to buy a very packable gilet thermal CASTELLI UNLIMITED PUFFY VEST.

As a North American trapped in the heat dome and I can’t even think about this question but it’s given me hope that maybe fall will actually arrive.

  2. You need to be more specific with the temperature during those seasons, your tolerance to it and the intensity of the exercise you’re planning to do. Everyone is a little different.

Ex. Canadians might be ok with gilet in sub 10c weather. Meanwhile someone in Mexico might be in full thermal gear at that point.

  3. It’s more about the actual temperature than season. And personal cold tolerance. Regular wind blocking gilet is under 68°F(20c), under 60(15c), and I’m going to want some thermal insulation.
