Back in London but with a mountain bike I decide to try riding in Epping Forest. The plan was to take to tube to Epping then have a short ride into the forest to find the tracks.

This has been a disaster. We’re supposed to be on a train at the moment, but trains were closed for maintenance. It’s supposed to only be was it 18k or something? Got a bit lost. Taking a risk cuz I said road closed, but this is the direct way to where I want to be. Just disturbed those deer. Making my way through this. I think I am back on track. I’m at least in a town so I can get some food. Yes, I should have been there on a train. I think I’m on track now. Finally. [Applause] This would have been a good gravel bike ride, but I’m looking for mountain bike tracks. I’ve been riding around for like 10k and not really any mountain bike tracks. I don’t plenty of stuff like this. There are a few little tracks like that, but they’re not really mountain biking. It’s an overground train, but it’s only a commute to head back. So, that is what I’m going to do. It’s a little bit hard navigating cuz I’m out of maps as in I’m outside of London where I don’t have the maps downloaded and this is all I have is those dotted lines to follow. No maps. So, it gets a bit hard at intersections like this. The day hasn’t really gone to plan. Ain’t really been any mountain biking. Grab a bike would have been the go. We are still on track. [Music] And I’m back. That wasn’t the plan. And I didn’t mountain bike. I guess it’s a question of whether I try somewhere else tomorrow.
