Is this Bike worth it for $250 or do I offer 200 since he’s came down a lot? I’m 6’4 and do not want to spend brand new price on a XXL bike. Wondering if this would be worth picking up and riding for a beginner. 2017 Shimano. Thank you.

If you can fit on it it could be a great reliable bike to get going on. I wouldn’t say 250 is unreasonable but it depends on your local markets, how often bikes like this come up.
It has one of those super padded gel saddles on, which are quite bad for causing numbness on rides of any real length. So you’ll probably want to replace that before long. Looks like it could also take some wider tyres but that’s getting nitpicky.
200 is pushing the most id pay for that for sure. Don’t let the size thing bother you, if he says no the right one will come along. I’m 6’5 so I feel your pain, but it’s not worth overpaying for something that really isn’t worth it.
