Black Forest Divide – Day 1 solo Bikepacking adventure
Alone in the black forest. No idea where I’ll sleep. Just me and my bike. On day one, I parked my car in a suburban area of Kals. After loading up the bike, I quickly find the start of the route. All right, so I’m leaving Kaler and I’m already on the first climb. The route took me to a wide open area with beautiful meadows where I said hi to the horses. I continued my journey and stumbled upon this unique library. It’s in an old phone booth, all for free. Just lend it, read it, and bring it back. Some climbing later, I made it to the highest point of the day in Doble. I rode some nice single trails before a rapid descent down to the Mtar, where I followed a scenic river. It was a hot day and the water looked inviting, so I had to jump in. The rest of the route was fairly flat, and it didn’t take long until I found my first camp spot of the trip. All right, that was a great first day, but there’s a lot more to come. Stay tuned.

Eingeborener hier. Alles recht normal soweit, aber auf englisch fühlt es sich soooo falsch an 😅
