  1. I love these news blasts about e-bike batteries going off. Always “be careful”, as if anyone knows what being careful means… what do you want people to do, guard the battery 24/7. Encase it in an impenetrable fortress only to be unlocked by tiny dwarves?

  2. Here we go again. It’s probably just a regular house fire caused by incompetence, and they take the footage and say something about “E-bikes”
Like there is thousands of videos out there spouting the same thing. It’s boring now!

  3. Here I am commenting for the third time in an hour.
There is SO much I want to say but I’ve been banned from commenting like 7 times in the last year I’m not gonna risk it again. I’ll leave it to your imagination. Let’s just say I don’t like the little guy.

  4. This e bike was bought from market place it was a pedal bike converted into a e bike & the battery used wasn't compatible they obviously got it cheap apart from that these people were so lucky to get out alive they may have had there home destroyed but at least there living
& breathing still seeing some of the videos of this it's a miracle there still here the footage was picked up by a neighbour's door cam the explosion happened so quickly.

  5. CO2 is ONLY 0.04% of air & has been as high as 0.04% 400 M years ago. FYI plants need CO2! Whole agenda pushed by corrupt politicians pushing agenda in exchange for £ from green tech looking for forced adoption!

  6. Why can't they charge the battery outside the house or on a pre pay public charger?

Landlords may have to introduce a new regulation: no charging of electrical bikes inside the property with the tenants signing a piece of paper stating that they understand this regulation.

  7. It's converted. Most likely, whoever converted it doesn't have a clue about electronics and converted the bike at home without enough research. They possibly used the wrong controller, wrong motor, or wrong charger with the battery. There could be many reasons, including modifying current limits. If you want an e-bike for Christmas, don't make it yourself if you don't know anything about e-bikes. Buy it from a trusted brand and never use the wrong charger. If there is serious damage, ask someone to look at the battery and change it if needed.

  8. In the UK, petrol and diesel vehicles catch fire far more often than EVs. In 2019, there were 1,898 fires involving petrol and diesel cars, compared to 54 EV fires. On average, ICE vehicles have around 1,530 fires per 100,000 sold, while EVs have about 25 per 100,000. They are never interested in making videos of petrol or diesel vehicles when they're burning.
