Personally I’d get the rockhopper 27.5… only to mullet it. But any of the rock hoppers would be good, I know some people who have them and they love it!

  2. What kind of riding do you do?

MN doesn’t seem like a place where full suspension is a big plus, and there are very big negatives to both of the ones you list.

The Fuse and, to a lesser extent, Fusion are both higher end bikes than the rest of the ones you list. They are build stronger to ride steeper and rougher trails.

Are you sure medium is the right size for you? At 5’5”, most brands would recommend their small, but fit is individual.

While the Rockhopper Elite wouldn’t be the best choice for somewhere steep, it has decent components and might be perfect for you. The other Rockhoppers are too old and low end to consider.

The polygon and the rock hopper are pretty good deals. That first listing is brutal

That first full suss seems suspicious. That’s a SRAM X5 9 speed rear mech, and 5 arm cranks? Either they paid $350 in workshop fees or are outright lying about the ‘$500 SRAM drivetrain’. There’s pretty much no scenario where upgrading a bike like that makes it worth more than the stock price, you can’t add workshop fees to the value.
