My Kona Mahuna was stolen 🙁 It was a medium. I’m 5’5”. I’ve been riding all my life but I know little about bikes. I rode my Kona in WV and I think it rode fine. I’m in MN now. Would you please help me make a decent purchase? Thank you!!

After market parts don’t mean much in resale value tbh
Specialized rockhopper if you don’t wanna personally upgrade it, but the specialized “mountain bike” if you want to yourself, or don’t necessarily care to. good luck finding a bike for you 🤘🏻
Do not pay $800 for that bike, they’re $800 new with a warranty
Not worth it. That bike has a spring fork. You can find the newest Comp version with a Judy Air Fork and 12 speed online in places for that same price. I’m pretty sure Specialized is doing a summer sale that starts in the next week or two and the Rockhoppers will be on sale.
None of these seem like good deals and they are all different sizes. Start by figuring out which size is appropriate for you
I agree with everyone here, figure out your size. Specialized is great. The “upgrades don’t make any of the bikes worth the price. Great deals on new bikes are still out there depending on size.
