    28 most likely, 30 ish I wouldn’t. But in any case try it and it’s good as long as it doesn’t touch anything

  2. Not a chance. That bike was from an age when 25 was considered huge for road bikes and some high end bikes could barely fit 22. They also ran what are considered now insanely high pressures ( I have a Pinarello from that age and the pressure range on the OEM tyres was 105 – 120psi )

    If you want to run more modern wider tyres at lower pressures as are common now you need a more modern bikes
