Climbed the highest mountain (Brocken, Elevation 1142 m/3750 ft) in northern Germany for the first time. It is located in former East Germany. The antenna and buildings in the background were formerly used to listen in on military and diplomatic radio communications from West Germany and NATO.

Nice one, from where did you start the route? I live about 100 km away from it, but I have just been hiking to the top. Now as I see your post, I think about going up with the bike for once as well.
