Congratulations. You were the favorites of the stage. Everyone was talking about Machu, but still what a battle and what a struggle to get that victory. Yeah, it was super difficult. The final was actually harder than I thought. Um, yeah, I was uh really motivated finally after uh it’s been four years, I think, since I’ve won my first stage on the tour to France. So, it was about time. I uh I won a second one. And you win it in front of Bogachar and Vingard. It makes it even more special. Yeah, I think of course people put me as a favorite, but yeah, if you see which riders were in front on the climbs, I think uh yeah, I did a really good job today to be there because you believe that Yasma could maybe hang on. Yeah, especially because they predicted headwind on the climbs. So, I thought um yeah, he would have a chance, but like I said, the climbs were harder than I expected. It was was really a hard pace as well. You saw the Yeah, the second to last climb already. We were maybe eight guys left on top. So, um yeah, it was just a really hard day and a nervous day again. The perfect start for Alvis Kunik Yasper Philips winning yesterday with the yellow jersey. Today it’s your turn with the yellow jersey as well. Yeah, I think yeah, it’s a dream uh for a team. Uh the first two days I think everything else that comes now is just a bonus. Thank you very much. Thank you. Yeah, absolutely phenomenal. I mean that’s how to start your tour to France, isn’t it? I like how you said there. I think it’s been four years since our last won a stage. He knows he knows it was four years. Murder Bratana. Everyone’s been reminding him of that, of course, because the race returns to Murder Bratana this year. He held that yellow jersey for six days back in 2021. How long can he hold it for this time around? For now, that doesn’t matter because he’s in yellow. And here is confirmation of our top 10 in the general classification. Machivand Paul leading Talia Pagata by 4 seconds. Yonas Ringo just two seconds behind that. Then it’s Kevin Vula at 10 seconds. Matteo Jorgensson. Then on the same time, Enrich Mass, Yasper Philipsson moves down from first to seventh. N pis or bank and xiao ala.

Yes what a man
My favorite rider 💪
見応えあり!!
I wish someone would finally build a team around Matt… because this fool CAN win grand tours… if he has the support. (Blah blah blah–yeah yeah yeah–I know–"He's too big"… "he's too heavy"… "he's not the best climber"… etc. But you don't have to be the best at EVERYTHING in pro cycling to win stages or win tours.
And, hey, what about that NEILSON POWLESS! An American in the Top 10 on GC on Day 2… not bad! Go Neilson!
Bravoooooo Van der Poupou‼️‼️
The beast that others draft on. You deserved this win and more to come.
Dutch doping……
Pogi was gaining on him and MVDP veered over at the finish. Enjoy it while you can Mathew , it won't last long.
Would have been nice to see him race against Sagan in his prime.
Imagine being in the breakaway group and you see a white canyon with Mathieu on it behind you. I suggest you reconsider your profession after that.
Nice work Mvdp
He took the race he is a champion
