My 7 year old son has been pushing 50+km rides consistently this year and his goal has been to push over 100km. Today we did 110km with a bit over 300m elevation. Probably half on gravel half on a road on his mountain bike. Proud and excited for him. He’s dead asleep now and I want to surprise him tomorrow morning with the comments from the community. Strava is great to motivate the little ones 🚲

What a wonderful day with your little boy. Here’s to many more days like this daddio.
LETS GOOOO! What a little beast he is!! 100km is no joke, especially at his age. How did he handle it?
Impressive. How did you get him to be such a beast? My 10yo whines after 1-2hrs.
Wow kid’s a beast!
That’s seriously impressive! Teach us to motivate our loved ones!
New Pogacar loading!
Congratulations kiddo! Nice work! Not easy at all, especially on a mountainbike!
Man some kids that age just don’t get tired as long as they have fun. I remember hiking in the alps with my then 8yo nephew something like 25km and maybe 1km elevation, and that little shit kept running up the mountain sides of the trail both sides kicking his football around with his friend.
Super impressive. Congratulations to his first 100km.
Incredible. I turned around after 800m with my 10 year old today because he was too hot. It was 17C out. What a trooper!
Awesome kid. Hope you both enjoy many more rides like this!
Damn, i have to get my shit together, got smoked by a kid quarter my age lol
I recently got into cycling (this spring) after doing fuck all for the past 30+ years, I’ve done like 1800km till now, my longest being 82km in 4hrs and a bit.
He’s gonna be a terror in a few years
Wow. I’m 40 and my longest ride is only 60km.
Chapeau to the little man!
i managed 1700 meters with my 6 year old before he got “to tired” – we walked the last 100 meters home …
how you managed 100km is beyond me. it does like a beautiful region to bike. hope you two had fun.
The swirl on his face is cracking me up.
That’s super impressive tho. Keep it up!
