I’m Richard—The Eternal Cyclist. After decades on the road countless Km, I evolved I no longer ride to conquer—I ride to be present.
Last decade I’ve lived from a AZUB recumbent bike. With no fixed plans or final destination. Just a presence—a meditation in motion.
Guided by the Buddhist middle path and Japanese *wabi-sabi*—the beauty of enough, nomadic lifestyle.
Not homeless—my bike is my home.
A hammock for a bed. A stove for meals. Few nessary things.
Most days I get what’s needed , nights I camp wild. Sometimes I travel with others!
I share unfiltered, unedited, unstaged videos— just real roads, moments, life, as the road presents it!
Just the joy of riding through a changing world, one breath, one pedal stroke at a time.

Okay, one thing when you’re solo travel versus traveling with other people, you can easily sleep in, stay up late, it’s close to 9:00 now. The reason I slept in is because the rains pretty much passed this morning a couple times on and off. So now I’m going to wipe down the tarp a little bit, let it dry out a little bit better, get on the road a little bit later. uh can ride a little bit longer, but I’ve avoided most of heavy rains. So, the gear will be drier, packed way better, and then today I’m going to have some light rains on and off. Uh could be a few spots where it’s heavy, but like I say, the gear will be better dried and then move on. Good morning. As I told everybody earlier in the little bit I said I’m packing up a little bit late today trying to get the tarp as dry as possible. So I’m packing up in a different order than I normally do. But I just want to see if I can get this tarp a little bit drier before I pack it away and then hopefully start having more dry gear. All right, a little bit of a late start this morning, but that’s one of the good things when you do like I do the joy of riding. I no longer go so much. I mean, yeah, you do have kind of a destination in mind because you have to because of visas and time limits and other things that happen these days in countries. But in general, I don’t have a point A to point B agenda where I have to go to say here or I have to say go to there. So today I stayed in a little bit later, avoid waited out the morning rains. Now semi clear skies so I can enjoy the day. Since I’m not a YouTuber, I really always forget that you’re supposed to do things like that they call B-roll where you get things like butterflies and different things and stuff to fill up the video with. It’s not my thing. Or these lovely flowers. It’s just not how I look. Those of you who don’t understand what B-roll is, it’s where you take a picture of this and then you scan up into the distance and then you look out there and you find the birds and you find the other things. It just kills some space and time. I’m looking for him. There he is. There we are. And that’s B-roll. And then you get the picture of the bird. Okay. Again, we’re going to go here with the what we would call the stage and set up shots where you’ve seen something like the butterflies and all that stuff flying there. And you’d do a shot like that. Then roll into the the low part following the flowers out, following the trees, following the flowers, and following that. Like I say, not really my thing, but I’m going to go ahead and, as I say, do it here for a second just to show what people would do some places to get the shots for YouTube. [Music] Another [Applause] thing some cyclists will do is what we call roadside picking. That’s where you see something like this, cherries and other things alongside the road to pick and eat. Uh, that’s something that you have to know what you’re picking, what you’re doing. Otherwise, you could get sick if you pick the wrong things or in the wrong location. Be careful. And as we say it about food picking and stuff like that, easy to find mushrooms alongside the road, but question, are they safe or dangerous? Some towns here have old castle type walls and buildings and such. You never know where they are in the middle of Poland, which ones are left over, which ones have been completely destroyed. It all depends on luck of the draw. [Music] Okay, I quickly picked up $8.39 or 31 slattes worth of food. The cheese I got at one slate. Normally, it’s like seven slatt, but it was on a discount. So, I get mustard, which will last me a few odd days, a tomato sauce, which I’ll make my pasta with, tomatoes for my bread rolls, my bread rolls there, couple donuts, and to a water and a juice uh for about eight bucks. You don’t you get okay for this value, but still don’t get as much as you used to. I’m going to talk later about uh why cheap countries tend to be more expensive because you buy nicer items and you eat better. Getting closer to the coastal area now. So, a few more bike paths and bike routes are more solid. It’s supposed to be the main biking area or one of the main biking areas here in Poland. As we said before, B-roll footage. There they are up top over there. Sometimes they fly away, sometimes they don’t. Chuck chuck. Some of the old stone churches still around. Interesting. Have their little woodwork stuff. All right. Tonight I’ll pull off here. Camp in this little area. Cook here. this uh I don’t want to tie off over there. Would be nice to tie off there, but because there’s going to be traffic and this and that. Instead, I’m going to go to the backside here behind this uh and tie along the trees over there. It’s not really a road, so I can just tie off there. Uh this is just where some people park, make out, screw, whatever. All right, it’s 8:30 at night. Still a bit of sun rise. Uh clouds you can see everywhere. So, it’s most likely going to rain from here. You can’t exactly see uh there goes a bicyclist. Can you see? Okay. Uh you can’t exactly see me set up back there or the bike back there, which is a good thing. which means most people would drive by not see me and bother me. I’m behind the stuff, so it’s just a good place to be. Out front is not always the best because yeah, some people are weird as normal. So, this may look like a road, but it’s not a road. It’s just a trail that’s to the backside here. The buildings, as you can see, the three little blinds kind of block my view. Bicycle set up there. Hammock’s already set up. I’m gonna crawl in as the mosquitoes come around, then start to feed on me. Uh, watch my movie and call it a night. All right, chithat. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe.
