We spent one day in Toulon France, but it was so hot we struggled to do all the best things to do in Toulon in one day as we had to stop and drink cold drinks all the time! We still got a good grasp of what to do in Toulon and at the end I’ll reveal the one thing I wish I got to do.

hey guys we finally got down to France and we made a stop in L which is on kotu in the frenier [Music] we had one day to explore what to do in ton we started the day by walking into the old town to get the feel of the [Music] place we walked in Winding streets through pestal colored houses and nice squares with restaurants and bars [Music] so have today we just had to have a cold drink [Music] yep sister s Louis church it’s uh closed of course when we come um it’s supposed to be quite impressive inside though I think it takes a lot to impress us after all the churches in ity [Music] though the cathedral um I’m not wrong um complely stunning inside when the stain glass windows and some incredible details and it was built between the 11th and 13th century and has been um historical monument since 1997 so pleas [Music] [Music] [Music] is one of the prettiest squares here it uh used to be called the plast AR but it changed its name in 1889 to commemorate uh the Centennial 100 years since um French Revolution I’m standing in front of hotel which is the Mediterranean Art Center unfortunately we C it when is close to uh even the outside is worth going and [Music] seeing it’s a cute Old Town um he soal colored houses and some cute squares we have been so tired of from the heat that we basically spend most of the time just sitting down in cafes drinking cold drinks and uh yeah uh I really wish that it was a little bit cooler so we got a bit more joy of walking around it’s really nice actually so anyway we will uh be going to see if we can check out the beaches I tried to search for the beaches around there but I couldn’t find them around the city so we might just go and have a look and maybe go down and have a dip one on one while the other one looks after Atlas we’ll see what we do we got some glazed almond so nice [Music] tul also has a really nice Marina I totally love it ha because it’s a bit more Bo so it’s not TOA and with the roasted almonds or glazed almonds we get a bit of sugar too so we get some more energy which is very good [Music] today we didn’t find any dog bites around her so we’re like okay let’s just drive down to the beach and one of us can go down and the other one and and we parked up on the road and we saw heaps of dogs down here so like okay everyone brings their dogs then we bring up us and this this tiny little place that is especially for the animals to to swim no one else just the animals and the owners so that was really cute so yeah seems like we’re all going for a swim today who is going to swim who’s going to swim who’s going to swim who’s going to swim Atlas [Music] [Music] CL it was absolutely lovely to go for a swim I we should have started the day with it to be honest felt so much better the rest of the day it’s been so hot um this whole area is like is full of beaches like little Coes uh full of playgrounds basketball Fields you I met and uh now as it’s getting a bit cooler people are starting to have picnics in the grass and it’s really Lively so it’s really lovely area um the one thing that we did not do that we would love to do in Tulum and you definitely should do if you come with is a cable car that goes up to the mountain where you have epic views of the city on the coast so uh if you come here that’s is one of the tough things to do and I will definitely do it next time we come visit CU it’s a really nice place um but yeah we will be continuing down south towards Spain so I will be where we see you as always right bye [Music]

  1. Bonjour! Thank you for an excellent video! Toulon still looks perfect. We are looking for a moderate summer climate area, with a plaza lifestyle, and near good healthcare (my wife has MS and is a cancer survivor). We walk and ride, so public transportation is required. I am a retired American educator. In 2023, we helped a new school open in Lviv, then spent 6 weeks in Krakow, and a month in Tallinn. Last year, we toured the south of France, from Perpignan. Marseille, Toulon, and Nice. I regret we did not visit Montpellier. We plan on moving to France after the summer to help our grandchildren. We are looking at Montpellier, Aix, and Toulon. There are too many significant advantages to living in France vs America: climate, healthcare, culture, and infrastructure. Merci!! Dean and Cindy.
