Based on your finger fitting easily in there, I’d say yes.
Don’t know what the other photos are supposed to say. Remove the insole and put your foot on it.

If you can fit a whole finger in the heel area, it is definitely too big. I would go down 1 size. Ideally, you should go to your local bike shop and try multiple sizes to ensure you buy the right pair of shoes.

Definitely too big

My bikefitter adviced me this: Take a measurement of your foot and compare it to the manufacturer’s size chart.

Way too big. I know buying online can be cheaper, but this is why buying at a store matters to you: you can try on different sizes to verify your fit. If you go to a store to do so, please don’t just use them to size your shoes and then leave to order online

Yea those shoes are too big. Cycling shoe sizes are so weird man lol, but I usually go down by half sizes till I find the right fit. It’s annoying for sure, but you’ll get the right fit and cycling shoes will last you 10+ years, so take the time to lock them in.

Is this what this sub is? People can’t even tell if their shoes fit?

Cant tell from the photo but. My toe is a little bit longer. So I have like 42 3/4 (EU) Adidas and my Shimanos are 44. 43 feeled to crampled. Every ride.
Bud then I’ve bought new insoles. Now feel a little bit bigger. With winter socks perfect. With summer a little bet free at the font – which I like. Perfect fit for the price I would say.
So maybe try another shoe, size or insoles to find you fit.

Nobody here knows your exact foot shape 😉
