  1. the upgrades seems cool, but the blue bars just makes the whole bike too blue and clashes with frame color imo, maybe try a different color like red, chrome or black

Honestly man I’d recommend trying to sell that bike and getting something newer. Geo upgrades are going to do so much more for you than expensive parts

  3. It’s a neat bike, but spending any money on upgrades, especially ones like you are mentioning really doesn’t make much sense. Unless you have an emotional attachment to this bike, you’d be better off saving your money and upgrading to something newer later on. That being said, if it’s something like the bars because you want some more rise and not just color, that then becomes a bit more justifiable. It’s all up to you, but you do have some premium parts picked out for a rather old, outdated bike in my opinion

  4. Don’t listen to these fools. Do what makes you happy as long as it’s reasonably safe. If you decide to upgrade the frame at some point you can put those parts on it.

  5. idk why op is getting so much flack cause the bike is old, these are good quality parts that will last and can be used on his future bikes. Saddles, Bars, seatposts and stems are basically a universal fit bike to bike.

  6. Save your money and buy a new bike, you’ll have a bike that rides way better. Or don’t, and be stubborn. Spend more money than your friends and have a shittier bike.

Go for it, just keep your old parts so you can switch the new ones out to your next bike
