This bike is unique because it's one of the few to feature a seamlessly joined aluminum frame, hence its weight of only 9.7 kg.

– 3 new tubular tires (1 stored under the saddle).
– Original Peugeot water bottle.

I bought this bike last summer from an elderly gentleman who had bought it in his youth. He competed on it (he told me he won 8 races on it at the time). He took great care of it and then put it aside after he stopped riding.

What sort of riding are you looking to do? Vintage bikes have their own charm, but also their own issues. The brake hoods can be uncomfortable on your hands, the geometry is different to a modern road bike and some may find it less comfortable, the braking performance can be pretty dire (especially in wet weather). You can replace or upgrade some of these parts, but if that’s what you want them you might just be better off buying a more modern bike.
