Been told that there are no significant differences between two and three piece cranks, both will hold up unless you pull something fully stupid. More here to ask if anyone’s ridden them??
Going to get some 2nd hand ones off my mate in 160mm, if anyone’s ridden them before I’d love to hear about your opinions and if I should look out for anything.

I have eclat unit brakes and they rule, i was gonna get these cranks but i got cheaper ones instead
They are def strong cranks! Of course check the wear on em when used.
Also I love the short 160 cranks!
Between 2pc and 3pc aint really a diffrence.
One issue I’ve heard of with 2 piece cranks is if you strip the bolt you basically fucked for getting it off, if you ever needed to. Obviously you could use a bit that pulls out stripped bolt heads but not everyone has those and would need to purchase one. Or you beat in an oversized allen or some have said use a size smaller and use a shirt or flap of rubber, pressing in and it might turn out. Other than that eclat cranks are tried and true. I’m going to get the tibia xlt’s on my current build
The hands down best crank I have ever had were Strictly “Bitch” Cranks haha I’d forgotten that’s what they called them haha
They were a limited run by a local Aussie bmx shop called Strictly BMX that had similar arms to these but with a glorious titanium spindle that was fucking indestructible haha (still is because I still run it, just with shorter arms now)
Vaguely recall the machine shop that made them for them ended up having something to do with Colony, making prototypes for them or something but no idea how true that is because holy crap it was about 21 years ago…
Random nostalgia trip there haha fuck I just made myself feel old!! Haha
